1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using runninglog, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to register. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Registration

When you register, you provide minimal personal information (name, email, password). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share your data with third parties.

5. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage metrics—such as page views, session duration, and navigation paths—to improve our service. Google Analytics uses cookies to track this data. You may opt out by disabling cookies in your browser or installing the Google Analytics Opt-out browser add-on.

6. Subscription & Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed annually at a promotional rate of $39 for the first year, and $49 on each subsequent renewal. Your subscription will automatically renew on your anniversary date unless canceled prior to renewal.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Billing page. Continued access to Pro features remains active until the end of your current billing period.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a full refund within 14 days of your initial Pro purchase. Renewals and promotional credits are non-refundable. To request a refund, please contact support@runninglog.app. Any dispute regarding refunds will be handled in accordance with Paddle's policies.

8. Payment Methods & Taxes

• All payments are processed securely via Paddle. We accept major credit and debit cards.
• If a renewal payment fails, we will retry up to three times over 7 days before downgrading your account to Free Plan.
• Applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST will be calculated based on your billing address.

9. Data Retention & Export

You retain the right to export your race data (XLSX or CSV) at any time. Upon account deletion, we will permanently erase your data unless required by law.

10. Prohibited Conduct

• Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the service.

11. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and content on runninglog are the property of their respective owners. You may not reproduce or use them without permission.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding its reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, runninglog will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post changes here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
